Our approach to profit goes well beyond normal year end accounts. We'll show you how to calculate your ideal profit levels, and find new ways to increase your profit throughout the business.

Who is the Turnaround Program for?

You'll be the owner of a B2C or D2C ecommerce business. This can be pure-play ecommerce or include offline elements.

Your main business is via an ecommerce platform like Shopify, Woocommerce, Magento etc (as opposed to only Amazon) or a custom build.

Your business is at least 3 years old and doing £400k+ turnover, although we also work with those doing less than that if we feel it can make a difference.

Most turnarounds last from 6-12 months. There is an option to review it after 3 months if circumstances change.

The Turnaround & Growth Program starts at £1500 per month depending on the size of the business and the complexity. In some cases there may be an option for Consulting Equity where we take a stake in your business for a reduced monthly fee.

How long is it and how much does it cost?

Ongoing Support

You can now continue on your own, or you can opt for on-going support or mentoring. This can be quite useful as you'll have access to help for any queries you have, or just to run something by for a second opinion. We'll also have regular scheduled calls to talk through what you're doing and resolve any issues you're having in the business generally. There's no long-term commitment so you can use it for as long as you need to.

Program Outline

Phase 1: Analysis & Triage

We start with a thorough examination of your financials, operational processes, and key performance metrics to identify the core issues behind your business challenges. Once that's done, we'll implement our essential tools like cashflow forecasts, profit calculators, and user recordings and surveys, while fixing any urgent issues or leaks that are hampering the business.

Phase 2: Strategic Roadmap

Our aim here is to create a foundation for the next few weeks on which to turn the business around and build sales. We'll get some "low-hanging fruit" done first, things that either fix obstacles to or issues, or are quick wins on the way to growth, and then develop a roadmap of strategies and tactics for stabilising and scaling the business. This roadmap provides a clear view of the tasks to be completed, but is also flexible so you can adapt to your business requirements at any point.

The program is run remotely and follows 4 distinct phases, usually over 6 months, aimed at firstly putting out any urgent fires, then rebuilding your sales, profit and cashflow to get it back on track and growing again.

Phase 3: Implementation & Optimisation

This phase involves working with you and your team to deliver the improvements and changes identified earlier. We'll use a group board to list and track everything we're working on, and have regular check-ins to resolve any issues or answer questions. This phase includes strategies to improve cashflow and profit, increase new sales, and retain existing customers.

Phase 4: Scale Up & Next Steps

Once the core foundation is in place and all leaks and obstacles have been fixed, we transition from "turnaround" to "scale up". At this point we'll introduce you to our CART methodology that will form your key strategy for scaling the business. You might also want to look for external investment, explore new marketplaces, or add additional sales channels. There's also scope for expanding by acquisition or adding new product lines. We'll examine these options with you and help you find the right paths to achieve your goals.
